I laughed out loud today when I saw a friend posted this on facebook with the caption:
“This reminds me of Shannon Moon for some reason…“
My preliminary dissertation proposal has been accepted! If all goes well, come December 2015 I will be Dr. Shannon Moon, and I will have a nifty hardware and software based aeronautical engineering masterpiece to show for it. Now to scrounge for the $30K for the material, equipment, and gear I will need for the project….
Update May 30th 2012: A friend just commented: “Dr Moon? You do realize there is an evil Dr Moon in DC comics. “expert in gene therapy, psychological controlling and torture”… Hmmm, same person as the hulk comment today, lol.
My left arm hardware (sans the ‘lag’ screws that could not be safely removed). I wonder what this much surgical grade titanium is worth…
