My preliminary dissertation proposal has been accepted! If all goes well, come December 2015 I will be Dr. Shannon Moon, and I will have a nifty hardware and software based aeronautical engineering masterpiece to show for it. Now to scrounge for the $30K for the material, equipment, and gear I will need for the project….

Update May 30th 2012: A friend just commented: “Dr Moon? You do realize there is an evil Dr Moon in DC comics. “expert in gene therapy, psychological controlling and torture”… Hmmm, same person as the hulk comment today, lol.
